Crompton Greaves B56 motors are imperial framed motors with a rolled steel casing and are available three phase (230/400V, 2 pole (2800rpm) / 4 pole (1400rpm) / 6pole (950 rpm)) or single phase (230V, 2 pole(2800rpm) / 4 pole (1400rpm)). Crompton Greaves B56 motors are suitable for a range of commercial / industrial usages, including lathes, drilling machines, milling machines and many other machine tools, as well as many uses in the food industry (chippers, peelers & fans etc).

The B56 motor comes in three specifications – drip proof (DP), drip proof with a resilient base (DP Res) and totally enclosed fan cooled. All of our B56 frame motors conform to BS500 PT II performance and BS 2048 PIT I and have a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty.
